i just noticed a major flaw with /pol/ and kind of the site in general. im looking on /pol/ and i see everyone agreeing with each other. conflict is a fundamental part of political discussion and it doesnt exist here. in my opinion the same goes for the rest of the site in general. theres nothing going on and no amount of posting will fix it. conflict is essential to the imageboard experience which just doesnt happen here. for me, the fun in posting doesnt come from how many people say they agree with me, its how many disagree. same thing the other way around when replying to someone. its not fun to tell another person that you agree with them, like who the fuck even cares.

also, there isnt really a board designated for meta posts so could you rename /sg/ to /meta/ or make a board for meta posts.

People mostly come here for it's chill atmosphere, hence the nickname "comfychan".
And most users here are tired of the shit that goes on at 4chan. This place is an escape from that.
I do see people disagreeing in some places here, but it's put much more eloquently and people argue against the post, not the user and there's much more constructive criticism, which in my opinion, is a great thing.

Speaking quite frankly,
There's not a lot of people here.
No point in making new boards yet.

I agreed to this.

But as I see from newer replies, there's a growing in less constructive criticism here than in the past, but I've talked to Twoot to this so I'm leaving few details here about my opinion of what's going on in 22Chan, but I can show more details if you want.

It would be rather nice to hear more elaboration, and i maybe see what you are going for.
Kinda like it's more turning into a circlejerk rather than discussion, if we put it short.

Yes, simply what I'm saying, thanks for the short version by the way.

i had a bit of thinking on this and what i tried to make sense of why is it happening, so here's my explanation:
we don't have many people here and the users here are very well aware of that. As such they don't want to scare each other away with contradictory opinions. It's even more visible when it's in context of "art" and "artists" who post their stuff, which might not even be good, but people don't point that out since the main thought here is "it's better than nothing", and so criticism is just kept really hushed down.
I guess people here simply have to let go of that notion, but at the same time refrain from becoming complete assholes who criticize the smallest fucking thing. Or the place will become something where stuff like this >>380 is posted unironically.
Some sort of middle-ground status quo stalemate(?) thing has to be achieved.
I hope I'm making at least a little bit of sense.

True, I wish there was a type of middle-ground too.
