Little Talks by Of Monsters And Men is a terrible fucking song. If you're European you probably know it, it was on the radio 24/7 circa 2011. It was incredibly popular. I still hear it on the radio every now and then. It's one of those songs that always gets stuck in your head.
A real staple of the fucking dreadful indie music scene that was so popular back in the early 2010s. Sort of feels like if Tumblr was a song. It's such a terrible, bland annoying fucking song.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghb6eDopW8I
Oh dear lord no
I actually did forget about this, thanks for reminding me
two years back this was the one thing played on the radio over and over
I hear that song consistently. I don't hate it but, I don't know what makes the song good. Is it supposed to be unique? The song is kinda lame so, I agree anon.
I was actually thinking of posting that one lol.>>961
I think people like it because of it's lo-fi "indie" nature. Like in the music video he's alone in a room playing it on an electric piano or something. That's the kind of vibe the song is trying to give, a pure and honest musician in his room making music for no one but himself. Thing is, it's not even fucking indie. This is like a normie-acceptable, mainstream version of indie.
I liked it until the singing came in.
Here are my picks. Others in this thread have posted about bland, annoying rock.
Coldplay is basically bland annoying rock: the band. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKNxeF4KMsY
So is Maroon 5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPpTgCho5ZA
Coldplay have a reputation for being a shit band that only hipsters like lol
Hipsters must be retarded because Coldplay has sold tens of millions of records.>>963
Imagine Dragons is the blandest band I've ever heard. The sales figures for this song scared me.
I honestly think normies just listen to what the media tells them to listen to.
